# Conditional orders using webtrader? \[sorry noob\]

[noob here but last message I saw on this topic was about 2 years ago]

Can one place a conditional order using the webtrader interface? Want to do a basic momentum order where I would say “buy 100 xxx if price breaks $120”  
I can’t seem to find a conditional button on the trade interface.

Hello

It seems to me that you don’t need any conditional order (2 orders, parent-child relationship), but a simple Buy STOP or Buy LIMIT, depending on the actual price.

If the actual market price is expl. 100, you can just place a Buy Stop Order at 120. When the Price will be hit, the Stop order will be filled at Market.

Let me know if your initial idea was different.
