I have a question on the 25th Oct 2010 when I shorted the stock ERTS (STO) it will just BTC with a one higher price please consider the below copied from the trade day at the trade section of my system. STO @ 15.67 and it will just BTC on its own it has happened twice to my orders can you help me Matt.

You entered a "buy stop" where you wanted a "buy limit" and vice versa. That is why is was immediately filled.
If you are short, your stop always has to be ABOVE the market (you are stopping your loss as the price goes up).

How do I make it not do that do I have to leave the stop and limit to blank instead? The above order has 12 as the stop and the 17 as the limit. Should I have to change this around or something?
