Dear Matthew, to have a good diversification a system can manage four (for example) or more different futures.
4 Futures can be very big, so that $100000 can be too little to cover some oscillations. It would be interesting to put the amount for example at $500000. Not all the futures have the mini version.
While the providers using a type of future can increase the number, the providers that will offer a larger diversification can be offer a best service.
The problem is not existing for currencies, where your idea of the mini lots is great.
