I wI’ll preface this by saying I don’t know if it can be done, but I think it would be a good addition to C2 to have partial IP addresses listed with all user logins and forum posts. By partial I mean X.X.222.121 which would not reveal the actual user IP address but would clearly expose vendors running scams with multiple usernames. Sure there are ways around this but sooner or later the scammer will screw up and expose himself…

Matthew,
I think David’s proposal, if implemented, would further strengthen C2’s credibility for all parties concerned.
What is your take on it?
Karl
Seriously good idea. It gets so very, very tiresome never knowing if someone is credible, and really brings the overall C2 experience down.
People speculate all the time (fairly or unfairly) as to whether one developer is just trying again under another system. And some people load up the aliases for no other reason than being able to maintain good/bad personas. Reviews can’t be trusted either as shills or competitive vendors… on and on it goes.
