Mathew, thanks for reply.
I don’t plan to talk to the NFA because I don’t think they offer subscriptions to trading systems as per c2, but I appreciate the suggestion.
Seriously, thanks for the acknowledgement on the subject.
"Does c2 provide its users/subscribers an accurate… "QUANTATIVE measure of the reserves above margin requirements needed to trade any system listed on its site?"
Domenic
Few independent advisory sites get into the gory details you keep suggesting. I have examined hundreds of websites, and do not remember this kind of academic precision. They are not that important.
None of these measurements or warnings will likely have any influence on how anyone trades or follows the C2 systems. New traders will not likely grasp the difference/meaning, and experienced traders already think they know what they are doing. Most warnings posted with advisory sites/newsletters are put there because the CFTC, SEC, etc. requires it.

Try Maintenance Margin on a google search.
>"They are not that important."
Should the balance in your margin account fall below the
maintenance margin, your broker will require that you deposit funds or securities sufficient to restore the balance to the initial margin level. Such a demand is called a margin call.
Maintenance Margin…thats important as far as the broker is concerned.

When a new trader or an experienced trader gets a margin call, they may at that stage grasp its meaning.
What is the maintenance margin?
“Measure of the reserves above margin requirements needed to trade any system”.
I think MK understands its importance.
"I’ll accept your suggestions for further statistics you wish to see and try to add them to the site as soon as is feasible. I do understand what you want to see, and I understand why you want to see it. I appreciate your suggestion."
I just hope he does implement as soon as feasible.
Thank you Matthew.
Thanks Ross
We are all aware of the Maintenance Margin. However the "QUANTATIVE measure of the reserves above margin requirements needed to trade any system listed on its site?"
and the Max Drawdown surgery you are promoting has no value to the average trader.
MK already said he how he calculates max DD and you basically dismissed his explanation and his suggestion for you to talk to NFA. You are "disappointed" and "puzzled" about these things.
This site trades Forex, futures, options, and stocks. It is many things to many people. It works fine the way it is.
I am a writer. I can tell you with great certainty that the more complex you make it, the less useful it is, and the less people read or follow it.
You do not really seem interested in improving C2. You seem interested in grumbling that things are not to your liking. He explained max DD, and you went on to complain about margin descriptions.
Give it a rest.
It is unfair to say to Domenic that he is not interested in improving C2. Also, MK wrote
I’ll accept your suggestions for further statistics you wish to see and try to add them to the site as soon as is feasible. I do understand what you want to see, and I understand why you want to see it. I appreciate your suggestion.
So what is the point of accusing Domenic?
"and you went on to complain about margin descriptions."
No he didn’t. He thanked MK. Did you not read it?
