# Please help me understand

I am new to the collective.  
  
  
  
I was wondering i create a automated strategy on my end up load it, Now if it’s live signals. do i run my system all day, not hosted anywhere?  
  
I create the API if i want to trade it on my system. does my server have to set to a certain API? I understand my signals need the collective api to send them to. But the user it doesnt matter, from there end?
