Something I wrote recently about meddling with a system might be relevant here:

> You probably don’t want to hear this but as a system creator I wouldn’t meddle with a system. If you meddle with a system you will most likely not do as well over the long term. A lot of people on C2 lose money despite the fact trading is automated in generally profitable systems. All people have to do is leave subscribed systems alone to operate, yet somehow humans find it difficult to do that. I can guarantee you are smarter than some automated system, and you probably have a wider view of…

However I’ll add to that if you’re following one of the several strategies on C2 that add significantly to falling positions (i.e. martingale-like), you’d better have your own stop if you don’t want to go bust.

I’d rather not meddle and don’t consider myself smarter than the average strategy. I am simply trying a to find a way to limit risk. Wonder if others have had success placing own stops.

It certainly would have limited risk for systems like Zero T, in that particular case the developer actually encourages subscribers to set their own stop and profit levels and as the previous poster has pointed out it applies to all systems where the developer keeps adding to losing positions apparently without any limit.
