Looked around, seems not many systems trading TF (Russell 2000 mini futures), while many even trade rarer commodities.
any reason for that?
TF seems to be a perfect trading vehicle. It’s more volatile than other indexes such as ES, YM etc. while not erratic as many commodities
We would like to see more systems that include the TF as well. Of note, ICE began charging $115/mo just for their data feed a few months ago, so we know that many traders have chosen to abandon the exchange. Also, while total daily volume in TF contracts is decent, the book is often very thin which can lead to significant slippage when autotrading.
