Hey all. I’m a newbie with a Mac. I’m trying to find a web-based simulator to practice trading the Dow Emini, but there are none that I can find (they all require downloading a .EXE file, which my Mac can’t handle). My best bet is to find someone who has developed a Web-based trial version. Anyone know of one?
Thanks,
Erik
You could run a Microsoft virtual PC or a dual partition, you’ll then be able to run most MS software from your Mac.
I have no experience with the software below.

Any independed from the market simulator is based on random numbers generation. Imho you cannot practice anything on that
Best case is to open account with a broker who offers simulation account. Usually you’ll have web-based interface from a broker. However you have to put some deposit for broker of your choice.
C2 offers forward testing(see test systems) without real time quotes. If you have real-time feed it might be very cheap way for forward test and avoiding fooling yourself.
Otherwise, there is no free lunch for practice in futures
Hope it helps,

If you don’t mind using delayed quotes data, try Interactive Broker’s free demo (either Java or web-based) http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/software/demo.php?ib_entity=llc

Unrealistic. The demo is only for becoming familiar with TWS interface. You cannot practice anything with the kind of quotes and fills
