You can trade futures, forex, even options without leverage:
you just have to own the capital, which is at risk.
Example: You own $10.000, of which you invest $1000 with lever = 10. So you put $ 10.000 at risk.
If you do not take any risks for the $ 9.000, which you do not invest with lever, your resulting lever for the $ 10.000 is 1, that is unleveraged investment.
