Compound interest after 1 year

C2 shows the expected annualized trading results as compounded interest, a practice I don’t agree with, but that is not the point. I think a linear calculation into the future would be more realistic.

But anyhow, we should realize that once a system reaches the 1 year mark, the compound interest calculation actually acts against the future numbers. Probably because the divider becomes more than 1, after the year has passed. And this is one reason why older systems have so much smaller projected returns, than let’s say a half year old system. Beside that, it is very hard to perform very well in the long run… :smile:

The best future trading system at least 1 year old is 92% profits…
