Doubleday Trend Spotting

Sam,

I used the collective2 margin calculator.

What is the algorithm behind the trades?

Well, since you are bending over, I will take a shot.

ALGORITHM:

1) Steal work from other site & advertise it as our own (continuing in the Matthew Graham/DoubleDay method of trying to steal from Matthew Klein and the C2 community).

2) Justify our continuing theft by ignoring reality and use unrelated distraction methods.

3)

----- a) Create trades. Have one really big one & hope to get lucky

----- b) Hope everyone doesn’t notice that overall performance of all other trades EXCEPT the 477 cocoa trade is rotten.

4) If it doesn’t work, get another free C2 system and try again

At least, that is what the evidence shows.

Ross,

1. Are you saying I am using someone else’s system?

2. If you are, please explain how it works, showing why specific buy and sell signals were generated for past trades.

> This position was calculated to be just under the margin amount,

Wow! C2 margin for CC is $209? For example Man (and I believe

the CSCE) are at $1266.

So your margin should have been 477 x $1266 or $603,000. Any

real life broker would have busted the trade and closed your

account ASAP.

WOW!

BTW, aside from that trade (that should never have been allowed)

you are losing right?

Sam,

I wouldn’t judge any trading system by the results of its first couple of trades. Also, as I mentioned, the amount of money allocated to individual positions has been changed. I assume that if you have an issue with collective2’s margin calculations that you’ve taken it up with Matthew Klein.

Sam,

You might consider focusing on your own system. “The Truth” is that your system is returning about negative 3% on an annualized basis. I can recommend some books on time management if you’d like.

1. Since you keep playing dumb, I will only point back to the previous posts

2. Since you keep playing dumb, I will only point back to the previous posts

Wow. I offered to withdraw from the community if you could back up my words, and you backed down!

Nah, its more fun to focus on the system of "Gee, did I really do something wrong?" Graham

I am sure you can recommend some books. In fact, why not just change the cover and sell it under your own name?

Funny you focus on an inactive system. How many are you going to mothball on your way to hoping for a winner?

(Shakes his head)

And yet again you err. Trend Spotting is an active system.

Your word has no value. Since you keep taking advantage of C2, You confuse with backing down with being tired of talking to the wall. You ignore the issues and raise the trivial.

A person could show you a corpse and you would say: "its not dead, it only stopped breathing"

You’re becoming tiresome, Ross.

And yet again you err. Trend Spotting is an active system.

Obviously I was talking about Sam’s system as inactive. But as I said, you really don’t read or address other people’s comments, you just like to think of unrelated things to say to avoid the content or the issues of your constant pattern of improper behavior.

(Shakes his head)

Rather than shaking your head, why don’t you tip it and let the hot sand run to the other side?

I stand corrected if Sam’s system is inactive.

I know. You are probably running out of distractions.

Why don’t you go to bed, and maybe you can think of some more ways to avoid the issues of your misuses of other people’s property tomorrow

The first time you addressed the truth in this thread.

Lets get back to the issue that started this, where you ignored Matthew Klein’s request to stop publicizing your system on this forum:

Today’s New Trades

STO 4 @NQU6 +$360

BTO 2 HUQ6 +$1680

STO 3 DJU6 +$2130

BTO 3 CLQ6 +$1350

Matthew,

I’m sorry, I thought this was the general forum. I’m I in error. I do apologize!

> I wouldn’t judge any trading system by the results of its first couple of trades.

Exactly, let’s throw out that first trade in particular and show your clients what your typical results look like…i.e. except for that you have a losing system…or is my math wrong?

no problem, just float another half dozen or so Graham/Doubleday systems, and maybe we will get one where most trades are profitable.

In the meantime, maybe we should find a few internet sites he can pilfer, and allow him more opportunity to deflect any criticisms.

This guy can rationalize anything.

If he gets profitable, I am going to look long and hard at other C2 systems for "amazing" similarities…

Ross & Sam,

Please don’t run this guy out of town. His antics are hilarious comic relief! I actually understand his enthusiasm and excitement, but anyone that actually takes more than a cursory glance at the things he has said and done will be able to read between the lines and wouldn’t take his systems (or any of the other trappings/page views/reviews/chatter/postings) seriously. Never mind the performance numbers (which are uninspiring to say the least).

Funny stuff though…keep the comedy coming, Matthew!
