I looked at the C2DS PDF a few times and was never able to find the location of monthly returns? Is there an xml command to retrive this data? from within C2DS structure?
Also has there been any progress on the C2 button?

C2DS allows to download daily values, just aggregate these values yourself.
(i.e. with a small loop in your code)
