Dear all,
As our site nature dictates it, we are obligated to follow the best security practices and requirements for web sites.
As of this writing, the only world-wide HTTPS protocols that are considered secure enough are TLS v1.1 and TLS v1.2.
All older protocols like TLS v1, SSL v3 and SSL v2 are now considered insecure and have been proven to be broken in various scenarios.
Hence, from today, our site uses most modern, most rigorous HTTPS encryption protocols and ciphers based on TLS v1.1 and v1.2.
Unfortunately, that means that some old web clients have to be left behind.
Most important changes are considering the following clients:
- Android built-in browser for Android operating systems older than 4.4.2 will not work anymore. Still, one can install Google Chrome browser on almost any Android device and that will work.
- Safari older than v7 will not work anymore.
- Internet Explorer older than version 8 will not work anymore.
- Internet Explorer versions 8, 9 and 10 require the user to manually enable these new HTTPS protocols, which needs to be done only once. It can be done in seven simple clicks and here is how:
