From Sep 1, 2016. Interactive Broker won’t allow leveraged on accounts under 10MM. Can you please share your experience with FXCM or any other Broker currently you are using. Thank you.

what means wont allow leverage? Im an EU IB client and didnt not receive such email.
It’s a result of an SEC decision. Broker-Dealers are no longer allowed to offer leveraged forex to retail clients. Only “Eligible Contract Participants” ($10mm+ in assets) can participate. I imagine it does not affect non-US based clients.
