Does C2 calculate short interest rebates on shorted positions?
If short shares are no longer available after a position is taken, how does C2 handle this - if at all?

We do not include the borrow costs for short sales, nor borrow availability. These both vary by broker. These factors can be material for strategies that depend on shorting hard-to-borrow shares, and so this is something I’d like to add in the future.
