I’ve been playing around with a Twitter/X online “brochure” for Vesuvius and Krakatau, and found a need, for presentation purposes, to reformat a copy of my TOS badge with a transparent rather than a white background. I thought I’d share the above in case anyone else might find such a thing useful. I simply used mspaint to make the background transparent. [Be aware that .jpgs cannot have a transparent background; that’s why I had to save the converted result as a .png file.]
