There is a substantial risk of loss in trading. You should therefore carefully consider
whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition. You should read,
understand, and consider the Risk Disclosure Statement that is provided by your broker
before you consider trading. Most people who trade lose money.
If I understand correctly TrendAlert is basically trend-following the market and buying confirmed pullbacks at key pivot levels.
On already existing trends this is still a very sound and proven technique if the trader uses a disciplined money management strategy at the same time.
Not really a trick but I entered at what I perceive was an ultimate entry level and went heavy. Now I’m playing the intermediate pivots at smaller intervals.
I just sat out a pretty decent dip so that should show you that I’m following a system. Logic should tell you that I would enter at a larger level during the start of a perceived trend. Only difference is since my Drawdown is decent, I’ll take less risk unless it climbs up to 20-30% then I’ll loosen it up. After all this is a business.
