C2Broker closed, so there goes my hopes to get a commission-free equity trading spot with one of my C2 strategies that deserves it. Are there any commission-free brokers known now to use with C2 autotrading?

Does anyone know why C2 Broker shut down?
It was hard to compete in a zero-commission world, and we determined it would be very expensive to create an offering comparable to Interactive Brokers’ multi-asset class support.
What is the possibility of getting Alpaca listed as a commission-free equities broker usable for autotrading or for broker transmit with C2? They seem to be gaining traction and features all the time, and have just added short selling.
Can you look into bringing Alpaca into the C2 ecosystem? Specifically Broker Transmit? Here is the API About Connect API. Here is my comment in their forums on the topic and Alapca’s response.
