In the AutoTrading Setup I can choose from a selected system an amount of $ or a percentage of the trading amount. If the system trades between 1 and 10 contracts, I would like to limit this additionally with 4 contracts. Is this possible?

I would like to trade the half quantity of the system. So I choose 50%. If the system trades 4 contracts, I would like to trade 2. I hope this is the right adjustment. But additionally to this adjustment I would like to limit the number of contracts. If the system trades more then 4 contracts, I would like to limit it to 2 contracts. Is this possible?

If I choose 40%, all trades would be limited do 40% and this does not work.
Currently this is not possible. You need to use a percentage, but no caps are available. (This may be coming in an upcoming AutoTrade enhancement, though.)
Depending on your broker, you may be able to request a position clip size of 4 which will have the effect of limiting you to a maximum of 4 contracts per instrument.
