CME raised futures limits
what is the current margin for holding the es overnight or for a daytrade? by 100%, do they mean that you must put up $50 x 2800 or something like that, or, $140,000 per contract?
Every broker has different limits. CME sets the limit but brokers can use a different amount so it’s best to check with your broker.
Just checked, opened order.
They suspended daytrading margin that was 500 $ to normal that CME set. Eg, ES is 5500 per contract.
