I’m trying to place an order for electronic futures eurodollar contract, it keeps telling me symbol not found

From Symbol Help Page…



Symbol = ROOT + DELIVERYMONTH + LAST DIGIT OF YEAR



So try @EDZ4

It doesn’t work



"Alert: Symbol @EDZ4 untradable: not found in database"

I’m not sure where you are trying to enter the symbol, but I go to New trade, and enter “@EDZ4” in the symbol box, and then above it this pops up:



"@EDZ4 is EURODOLLAR DEC 2014. C2 price format: 97.01 - Market closes 17:00"



Maybe Matthew can help you, since I can’t duplicate your problem.

thanks for trying, I do get

but once i place the order it gives the error message.
