High Margin + No trade allowed question

Hello, I have several questions regarding the system;

  1. I was trying to trade Bitcoin (@BTCX0) why I cannot trade this product?

  2. Even If I could trade why the margin is so high? (200,000) is that an error? I’m seeing on IB that’s around 16K, is there an option to trade the Bitcoin?

  3. and regarding other products that we are " not allowed to trade" - if I TOS how does it reflect on the client-side? the products I’m not allowed to trade can be traded on my broker it’s just not transferred to the client.

Thanks for the clarification!

What is the Margin Requirement?

Outright Margin: The margin requirement for outright long positions will be set at 50% of the prior day’s lead month settlement price. In the case of outright short positions, the margin rate for the CME contracts is currently set at USD 200,000.

Thank you for the clarification! but if I’m interested to buy (go long) why it’s still require 200,000? am I missing something?
