How do sellers handle vacations?

I am getting ready to sell a system, but I need to know what I can do for my customers when I take a vacation.

In particular, I would like to stop charging them their monthly fee, and restart it when I return to work. There is also the matter of potential customers and free usage. For those people, I would like to just restart the whole trial period again.

And of course all my customers would have to be notified when I went on vacation, and when I returned to work.

I do hope there is something in place for this already!

I believe its possible to offer discount coupons

As System Manager, you have the ability to offer customized subscription pricing to any of your current subscribers. This customization includes the ability to charge zero for some period of time.

Go to ADMIN -> Subscriber Management. Then select the checkboxes next to the subscribers you want to customize.
