What also occurs to me about currencies, while I pick the tattered remains of my system out of the wall, is they’re much more related than most things. For example, if you see signals that EUR/GBP and EUR/USD are both priced low, it’s probably actually a false-bottom, while it might well be true if you got the same symbol from either individually. Trying to trade a set of currency pairs without taking into account this inter-relatedness is probably suicide, and trying to trade a small set of currency pairs without any common currency is probably going to mean you’re over-exposed to any individual currency deciding to go fast the wrong way.
