To all traders participating in the OptionsXpress AutoTrading Beta Test, I want to alert you that optionsXpress (OX) appears to be having serious issues with server responsiveness. This is affecting almost all active autotrading accounts. The problem is sporadic, but it is serious enough that I would encourage all AutoTraders currently using OX to consider turning off AutoTrading at OX until the broker resolves this issue.
I have informed OX of the problem, and they are looking into it. I’ll post more info at C2 as I learn it.
I’ve just opened an OX account to use for stocks/options (I use OEC for futures). Do I need to do anything special to get on the autotrading beta test program?
No, you can sign up right now for Gen2 AutoTrading. Further, we are about to announce the optionsXpress Gen3 beta test within a matter of days.
