I noticed this occurring before but couldn’t believe it. But today it was really bad. The system closed out 4 positions on its own. Is this some kind of software glitch or a new automatic trading method?
You had a margin call. The secret to life is to not over-margin yourself.
You were sent an email informing you of the over-margined condition and giving you a chance to fix it before positions were closed automatically. If you over-margin your Model Account, it can be dangerous for real-life traders following your system, and thus we simply close positions after a warning.
