When I’m looking at my dashboard the positions are indicated by “Buy” and “Sell” followed by the number of contracts that were originally opened. It would make more sense to me if the positions were indicated with the words “Long” and “Short” followed by the number of open contracts.
I agree, and if you must have things color coded then please limit it to the p&l for each position only, not the position description itself, I find it counter intuitive looking at a short position written all in green because the position is making money.
