I am posting orders through the web api and am including the &signalid= parameter. It doesn’t appear my signalids are being used. Is there a problem with doing this, or am I using it incorrectly. I am generating unique signalids for my orders myself.

When you provide your own signalids, C2 will use those internally so that you (and only you) can reference them (for example to cancel a particular signalid which you have previously provided). But we also stamp each signal with our own external public signalid which we map to your internal numbering. This guarantees global uniqueness across systems.

Is there any screen on which my own unique signalids are shown so I can see I am doing it right? The only signalids I can see are the C2 generated ones.
