Maybe this is a silly question, but it said "your system enjoys complimentary listing … 3 free signals remaining" before I have to pay the listing fee.
Does this mean people can see my system before the fee is paid? And once it is paid, do they see its performance from the start or from when the fee is paid?
Thanks

YES
And once it is paid, do they see its performance from the start or from when the fee is paid?
From the start
not silly questions, either!
They also see any system you start and drop. Some have started a number of freebie systems and dropped ones with poor performance. Too tempting otherwise…
Not exactly. If you start a system, don’t pay for it, and have less than 5 signals, and then kill it, it will disappear from records here, as long as no one ever subscribed (I think I’m right about the last part about subscribers).
So, it is possible no one will ever be able to tell you started it, and then abandoned it.
There is another forum thread about this, and Matthew knows about it, and he gave some reasons why it is that way.
BEWARE: At least one vendor uses this loophole as a standard business practice, to get his systems off to a seemingly good start. I won’t reveal the name of this “twit.”
Kevin,
About your "Beware" statement.
I agree…
It is extreme madness when vendors do that.
I can understand it under limited circumstances (Matthew mentioned a few). But to do it routinely is deceptive, IMO.
Sorry you feel that way. The record is what it is - so quit whining like a baby. And don’t take your frustrations out on me.
KC QLD/QID was coupled with KC MVV/MZZ after starting and stopping perhaps a few times KC QLD/QID to get a good entry.
Big deal. It is what I do from here that matters - and no sub money has been taken and my rating is a scant 6.
It is not my problem if I eventually will be able to navigate seriously upward - and if I want open some closed systems and do the same ust for spite and an improved C2 rating.
KC’s NQ Madness has been re-started but you can still see the original here:

Not too serious, but you know this. I have many systems and the few that I did this does not speak volumes re: deception. If I did it your way, I’d just learn, then start over with a new name and be sure to not lose a C2 rating.
In the end it won’t matter. Temporary “winning” systems will pass and TRUE “winning” systems will press onward and up.
Bur the venomous spite, hatred and jealousy will never cease. That is why so many have probably decided just to vend and stay far to the periphery. To stay away from the snakes that take up space in the pit.

Please go look at the terrible loss to equity from link that is SO important to whomever.
things might improve if Matthew would allow each paying vendor one FREE test account which can never be shown to the public.
Corby,
I believe test accounts are allowed, but when they are converted into a "real" account, all history is deleted. While that works well for those vendors actually testing a system, it would not work well for those trying to cheat the system.
