Your C2 System is independent from your IB brokerage account. You can link the two, in either of the two possible directions (i.e. IB trades go automatically into C2 system; or C2 Model Account signals go automatically into IB account), but they are two different things, and - depending on which of the two you are managing (IB account or C2 System) - you should enter the quantity in the format that is appropriate.



If you are entering signals into C2 directly, then you enter in units of "minilots." Example: telling your C2 system to BUY 2 EUR/USD means buy 20,000 Euros.



Regardless of the quantity you enter when managing your C2 Model Account, whoever is AutoTrading your system (and perhaps it will be you) can set up AutoTrade preferences so that C2 Model Account quantities are scaled appropriately for whatever broker/account will receive the signals.



So, to take your specific example, you could configure C2 AutoTrading to trade (for example) 50% of your C2 Model System, with a minimim trade size of 25,000 units.
