$83,838 in commissions for one 120 lot trade?!?

Hi, something seems wrong with the “after commissions” calcs on for my system, "Sweet Peak."

I’m sorry but I just don’t understand how I “paid” $83,000 in commissions on a single 120 lot futures trade! That means I “paid” $700 per contract! Boy, I guess I need a new broker! I mean the Nybot charges a whopping $1.35 maximum per trade, so that laughing discount broker I’m using must have just pocketed the other $82.838…

Allow me to explain:

Before “commission,” I’m up almost $85,000. After “commission,” I’m up about $1,000 it looks like. So, how did I end up paying $84,000 in commissions?

1 trade, entered into 120 sugar futures contracts, at 17.35.

SBV6 contracts settled today at 17.98 (17.98 / lb) (though C2 quotes it at 17.96)

1798 - 1735 = 63 points

each point worth $11.20 = $705.60

705.65 x 120 = $84,672

So a so-far golden trade looks like it’s made out of lead according to the “best-case after commissions” adjustment. Note that “realism factor” is %100. I have a sneaking suspicion that this might scare away potential subscribers…

By the way, in real life I’ve been doing several trades similar to the Sweet Peak trade and they’re up massively. So, what’s going on? I’m assuming it’s a technical thing.

Thanks!
