Can you please tell me what does the @ at the beginning of a future contract mens, because I can see some with it and some without…

Unfortunately there is no logical coherence in the way futures symbols roots are determined (there is logic in the way that you construct the full symbol by using a root plus a single-letter month code, plus a single number year code; that is always the same, regardless of what the root is).



I suppose each exchange has its own internal reasons for naming symbols the way they do, but there isn’t coherence across exchanges, and even, sometimes, within the various exchange platforms.



So the best you can do is look up the symbol using the Symbol Help link (on the C2 order entry ticket, just below the space where it asks you to type your symbol), or at this page:
