Auto Stop Loss

Last week I requested an Auto Stop Loss in my Happy Trading Account. I received a confirmation email that the stop had been placed for the initial trade Happy Trading put on following my request to C2.



On the subsequent trade Happy Trading opened (the only current active position), I received no email confirmation regarding an auto stop loss - does this mean that the order was not placed? If not, could you please place the stop for the requested dollar amount in my account?



Currently no stop loss orders appear in my FXCM account, but this is not unusual. For some reason stop loss orders sometimes appear under the orders section, and sometimes they don’t. I’ve given up trying to obtain an explanation as to why from the FXCM customer service support - they really never understand my question.

We can’t put trades in your account for you. But you can certainly see all the working orders in your account by going to the C2 screen called “Open Positions” (reachable via the top AutoTrade menu).



This screen lets you adjust current stop losses and profit targets for all your systems, and shows all the stop loss and profit target orders working in your account (and yes, you’re right that you won’t necessarily see those working orders when viewing your FXCM software, but you will see them when looking at the C2 web site).

Look now. You should see them on your C2 "Open Positions" screen. (Just needed to kick the server, like the Fonz in Happy Days.)
