I am autotrade following a strategy via TradeBullet and IB. If i change my sizing allocation, will the closing orders remember the original number of shares i purchased?
a) if i increase system sizing while a position is open, will autotrade try to close too many shares when the system generates a closing order
b) if i decrease system sizing, will autotrade under-close the position?

The setting will apply to orders going forward. Your currently open positions will not change.

But how will it affect the closing of currently open positions? If i have 80 shares Long open, and then i double my allocation, will autotrade try to close 160 shares? or does it remember I only have 80?
THis is using Tradebullet / IB.

C2 knows how many shares you filled, and that’s the quantity it will use to close the existing positions.
