trying to setup autotrading with FXCM-UK or Forex.com, it seems not possible to select a Euro denominated account.
Not quite sure why it matters ? Could you confirm/explain this limitation.

There is no such limitation at Gain Capital (forex.com). You can have an account in any base currency as long as it is a minilot account.
