I started simulating the system 1-stratosphere and my plan was to test it at 50%. I no longer have that option. I can either trade it at 1x or greater. Is that how it will also be if I decided to trade live? I could no longer trade at a smaller percentage?
they took that option away in the new c2. switch back to the old c2 to scale smaller
Thanks for that information, but I am sure there will come a time when we can no longer switch back. There are many systems that trade very well at smaller percentages.
It seems C2 usually let’s us switch back to a former interface only for a short period of time and then we are forced to use the new no matter how bad it hurts.
I think this will hurt many stock systems, the ability to scale down especially in high volatility stock trading systems is indeed a great comfort.
You can use any scaling you like when you AutoTrade at a real broker.
When you use the new free simulation mode, only specific scaling intervals are available. Generally, you can simulate a strategy at 100%, 200%, 300%, etc. – provided that your personal Sim Account has the required available equity. (If it doesn’t, you can only Sim at 100%).
Also, in free simulation mode, some stock-only strategies can be traded at less than 100% scaling. The intervals available are generally 10%, 20%, 30%, etc. However, these less-than-100% intervals are only visible when your Sim account has available unallocated equity.
Finally, to re-iterate once again, when you use a real live broker account, you can scale your trading at any Scaling % you like.
