collective2.com was down most of the day Aug 22. Why? Is this common?

Actually we were down for approximately 2 hrs starting at 16:01 ET yesterday. Now we’re back up.
Regarding your question if this is common: I’m happy to say that we’ve had a pretty good record of uptime lately (for the past several months at least), with few unplanned outages. Yesterday’s downtime was pretty uncommon.
I am very sorry for it, though. I’ll keep working on ways to avoid downtime.
