Hi
my system: Crazy options.
Cumul. Return 402.6%
2015 return = +164.8%
2016 return = +89.8%
so how we get Total = 402.6%
thanks

A Martingale system with a huge 50% drawdown.
Cumulative return is an annualized return, it is a projection of your 5 months returns to 12 months period.
Steve I don’t think you understand the logic and the special wisdom of my options trading.
It’s good to see this big DD so every one know that is high risk system- but sometimes it not so bad to risk x and get 6x gains …
The c2 score is 98.6
The system is not martingale and
Of course someone who claim this should try to figure out what is options trading wish big oversold stocks.
Crazy options 2016 has 160% gains
And less then 10% DD
It’s only in the start but maybe it my best option system ever.
I would agree on terminology. “Cumulative” should be for as long as the trade system has been live. “Annualized Return” should be projected to 12 months. Based on my experience with other systems and if Andrey is incorrect.
Just to double check - “The aggregate amount that an investment has gained or lost over time, independent of the period of time involved. Presented as a percentage, the cumulative return is the raw mathematical return of the following calculation:”
No, we have not mislabeled anything.
In C2 land, “cumulative” means NOT annualized.
So when you see the stat at C2 which says, “Cumulative Return” it means the simple mathematical return, not annualized in any way.
No one at C2 ever said any different.
Andrey - This is incorrect. Cumulative Return means a simple return %, not annualized in any way.
Yes I was wrong, sorry.
So could somebody explain to me how is 400% return calculated ?
Not rocket science , you started with 10K and now you have 50K = profits 40K = 400% .
Yes that the data
But it’s now corespondent with the 2016 gain+2015 gains
So that make me some confuse
You should multiply the gains :
2015 : 164.8% = from $1 to $2.648
2016 : 88.8% = $2.648 times 1.888 = $5
Overall : from $1 to $5 or 10K to 50K = 400% increase
Great answer
My calculation was now so good in the weekend
I made reset to my brain after this crazy week…
Thanks a lot
Of my system will continue to grow up
