If you don’t think it’s something that needs fixing, up to you. But what’s this about a chip on a shoulder? I’m just offering my opinion as a subscriber, about the experience I had getting setup with c2 and autotrading; it almost put me off, and I’m sure it puts other people off
It’s not that I think I know better; although you clearly do. But actually your responses just appear obtuse, because you don’t seem to understand the point being made.
Whatever, if you want to keep going with the “c2 is the best thing since sliced bread line”, that’s up to you. OptionsXpress, and many others are eyeing c2’s lunch though.

you apparently don’t seem to realize how you are talking. Many people make suggestions to Matthew. The totality of your posts seem to have an attitude problem about it much more than other people who have made similar requests.
You definitely did not understand my response I have been here > 2 years. What I said is very correct.
LOL, I’ve been here so long, I must be right, and anyway who are you to come in with new suggestions without first kow-towing to us long-timer experts, and without so much as a “c2 is so wonderfull, but could I possibly make one tiny suggestion…”, tug forelock.
Get real.
You still don’t seem to have recognized my point; perhaps you’ve been gere too long.
Try signing up to c2 all over again, and getting a live trading account hooked up, imagining that youre a slightly anxious and dubious newcomer. You can’t do it without hooking up a real system to your live trading account.
Whilst I’m at it, there are certain very active members of c2 who seem to constantly deride each other, bitch and whine about people ripping free subscriptions off, and so on, and on.
I have to say, as a suscriber, I find the tone quite off-putting.
And of course I’m not demanding a “quick fix” to the issue I’ve pointed out.
I’m already signed up with c2, and autotrading, so I’m alright, Jack.
I’m highlighting the issue, because it very nearly put me off getting on c2 entirely, and it could well be putting other people off.
If you’re happy not to have more customers join c2, then keep up you’re snooty “everything’s fine the way it is, who are you to criticize, especially with such an attitude problem”, attitude.
Jack,
You can sign up to your own system. Or like I said you can set up a demo so you figure out the “ins and outs” without wasting any money till you figure out how to use it. Matthew anything I’m missing?
Craig
you are correct Craig.
Apparently Jack R is not happy unless he complains and vents to get HIS way. I tried several times, but he just does not get it.
Yes, it’s true you can sign up to AutoTrade your own system.
That said, I understand Jack’s point. I’m not sure signing up to a system that generates random trades is the way to accomplish this, but there should be an easier way for a new user to be confident that his first attempt at AutoTrade configuration is correct.

Thanks Matthew, this is exactly my point - there are ways to get everything up and tested without paying a system subscription and/or committing to real trades, but it’s not obvious or easy for nervous newcomers.
Thanks craig, that sounds like a good way to do it; create your own system, and subscribe to it, and autotrade it. That way you can prove the connectivity etc, with orders that you’re comfortable with, rather than submitting yourself to one of the new, free systems, which might enter a trade that blows up your account.
