Outage July 5 2016

Hello, C2 Members -

We had site-wide unplanned downtime starting at 2:58 PM ET today, July 5 2016, lasting until approximately 3:30 PM ET.

We have identified the cause of the problem. We are working on fixing it so that it does not recur.

I think I share with all C2 Members a belief that C2’s system uptime and reliability are vitally important. In the past twelve months, we’ve spent a lot of time, money, and effort to expand and improve our infrastructure, and the results have been encouraging… until today. Today’s downtime, while relatively brief - was still a big disappointment to me personally.

I’m sorry that we blew it today. We’ll make sure today’s problem does not happen again.
