It’s not a problem with AutoTrade. It’s a limitation of the brokerage firm your client has chosen. OptionsXpress does not allow market orders for the @VX contract. Therefore we do not support AutoTrading of this contract at optionsXpress.

Hi, I’m “the client”…
There are at OptionsXpress a future called VM1K11 - Volatility Index (Mini) MAY 2011 …
Its the same ?
why not colective2 trade this one?
Because optionsXpress does not allow market orders for this contract. If a broker doesn’t support market orders, we can’t support the contract at that broker.

Let me look into this and see which brokers fully support the contract. It may be a case where the contract doesn’t have sufficient liquidity to allow market orders anywhere, but I’ll have more info soon.
Matthew
I think I could trade this future manually at vm1 … but every hour I receive a email "OptionsXpress PositionSync Warning" Recent broker reject reason: Futures symbol not available!.
Could I avoid that collective2 retrying this trade ?
