Looking at the equity chart, it seems that the time frame isn 19t fixed but random. For example, if we look at the equity of my system 1CLogica Eurex 50k 1D on 07/11/2013 I can see the equity figure at 07:41 and then the next equity figure is at 10:40, and then 11:48, 13:21 and so on. This is quite clear than there isn 19t a fixed interval among figures on the equity chart. I have checked other systems 19 chart and I see the same format. Isn 19t this way of showing the equity dangerous because it ignores big drawdowns or run-ups between the points of the equity?

The equity chart “snapshots” are taken at random. We use certain algorithms internally to make it less likely that large changes in system equity will go unnoticed, but it’s possible this could happen. (Very unlikely, however.)
