Yes, I agree. We’re working on tweaking styles to make text more legible and larger. The current (new) dashboard page is an example of a page that has been modified (at least somewhat) with this goal in mind. Other page redesigns will follow.
I suggest you spend an hour, with the old site on the left and the new site on the right. Keep looking back and forth between them Figure out any way you can give the new home page the look and feel of the old. It is a major come down.
The problem is mainly the home page/top level. Somehow, this is not getting through. I agree, that the reaction seems more like “live with it” and “this is our decision”, rather than a strong effort to fix the problems with the new site’s user-experience problems.
I have tried the new site a a few times, it is aggravatingly a come down from the old, fro9m a high-level point of view.
