After one opens and funds a futures account at OEC does one need to register that account with C2 or can they proceed directly to auto trade setup with their new account number?

Registration is not required. If you already have an existing account at OEC, you may proceed to the Autotrade setup Wizard from the trading system of your choice. In Step #2 of the wizard, you will select "Gen3 OpenECry" and then select the appropriate OpenECry connection. After that, you will be prompted to enter your OpenECry account. Please note that if you do not have an account, Step #2 will give you the opportunity to open a new OpenECry account.
Once you have completed the wizard and saved all your settings, your account should be approved within 24 hours. If for any reason, you do not see activity in your account, you may inquire about status via the C2 general questions help desk, which can be reach by email: info@collective2.com.
