We’re going to be taking down the entire site on Friday night, 4/27, in order to install new hardware in our main data center. The outage will begin at 5 PM New York time, on Friday evening, and will continue until late Saturday night. (Over 24 hours of down time.)
I apologize in advance for the inconvenience this will cause. The stuff we’re installing will ultimately increase site reliability and decrease the likelihood of unplanned outages in the future, but it does require shutting down the site entirely for the day. We’ve scheduled the outage for a weekend, when all markets are closed.
