Looks like adding to some winners, which seems to be your motif, worked against you in September. Death by a thousand cuts.
When the monthly crosses 170, I exclude the fund. The person is too greedy for my small portfolio. If it’s a top 20 ranked fund with a record I would make an exception.

Q: I have watched many strategies blow up. Almost entirely due to excessive leverage. Would you consider limiting your maximum leverage to something <20. I do not see that this would adversely impact your returns, but would reduce the worst case
A: I opened several positions and move SL to BE. Then open more positions with increased leverage but that doesn’t mean higher leverage implies greater risk.
That’s my trading style.
