I receive an email dated 1-14-09 9:41 a.m.
in it is a signal with "Time Posted (EST)" as:
1/14/09 1:40
was this signal posted at 1:40 a.m.?
If so, would it still be vaild at 9:41 a.m. when I receive the email?
Without knowing the specific signal id you are talking about, I can only suggest the following:
You subscribed to the system in question yesterday evening at 17:29 Eastern time.
C2 sends signal update emails both when new signals are posted, and when older signals are filled.
So I suspect what you saw was an email that informed you that an "old" signal (i.e. one posted long before you subscribed to the system) was filled.

If a.m. or p.m. are not provided, why are the times not in 24 hour format? FX trades 24 hours, how can I tell what time the signal is for?
