@PropTrader,
I wasn’t sure what his units were when he said "1.3"
This is why I followed it up with a numerical example… so you are correct… 13 pips is the spread and he confirmed it by saying yes to my EUR/USD example.

The opinions expressed in these forums do not represent those of C2, and any discussion of profit/loss is not indicative of future performance or success. There is a substantial risk of loss in trading. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition. You should read, understand, and consider the Risk Disclosure Statement that is provided by your broker before you consider trading. Most people who trade lose money.

In your example, you just missed a digit. IT was probably 1.05513 and 1.05526, so 1.3 is actually 1.3 pips. Just have a better look at some recent trades…
Bottom line is Gain seems to have the widest spreads. I always come up short (sometimes way short) of the closed trade. Just look at actual trades.
Here are some spreads in Trade Pro Futures the Gain forex IB . They are not wide as you claim guys .
Here is one example at Daniels
So I accidentally let my account get transferred from FXCM, but had set an account up through Trey. Was online just now and tried to hook the autotrade up to the account that had been automoved. In the discussions with the person online they told me:
Kirk: Actually the spreads are better in the account that has the funds currently.
But I cant use C2 from that account. It has to be through a C2 IB broker and have to transfer the funds to the other account.
Yep. Forex.com has smaller spreads. Then you add the IB and the spreads go higher. With NO ability to get lower spreads through active trading. IB"s cost you more $$$. Now does Trade Pro have better spreads than Daniels? Not sure.
We learned today that Forex.com accounts are not going to be supported by GAIN for C2 Autotrading. All FX accounts must be on-boarded through TradePro Futures or Futures Online (a.k.a. Daniels Trading). It’s still GAIN but the account runs on a different platform on their side.
MBTrading does not offer FX anymore and we do not support Oanda at this time.
Will you consider supporting Onada?
We are in talks with them and it is still too early to tell but best case is it will take a few months.
Thanks, Gain needs some form of competition.
Huck I agree 100%! Oanda looks pretty good. Tighter spreads. would be good for C2 community
I wonder what it takes for C2 to make a concerted effort to bring Oanda aboard?
Possibly, if we keep conversing to and fro, we keep this question at the forefront.
You’re spamming the board. That’s not helpful.
LMUS - This is not spamming. We are conversing. I don’t recall you adding to the conversation. Oanda really transparent on there spreads.
You already received a response from C2 saying that in the best case it will take months. Why are you still pressing for an answer that has already been given?
LMUS - I do know that with C2, the squeaky wheel gets attention. With enough support, the time frame can be reduced. In the past Matthew generally posted a response within 24 hours. Even though Trey Lazarra from TradeProFutures responded within three days, it was not until Francis Gingras responded approximately 2 week later that we heard officially from C2. That was just 3 days ago. Also, I know that forums helped realize the Gen3 connection between Interactive Brokers and C2 at a quicker pace.
I’m set up with Tradeprofutures - Gain. Works fine. I’m hooked up with Conservprofit and making money. All works well.
Hi @JamesRowe2… can you give examples on slippage and bid/ask spread on TradeProFutures?
Thanks.
