How long does Autotrade approval take? It shows still waiting for broker approval?(IBKR)
I set it up on 2/3.
The opinions expressed in these forums do not represent those of C2, and any discussion of profit/loss is not indicative of future performance or success. There is a substantial risk of loss in trading. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition. You should read, understand, and consider the Risk Disclosure Statement that is provided by your broker before you consider trading. Most people who trade lose money.

Hello,
Normally 2-3 business days, but I don’t see any forms submitted by you, which are required to gain IB approval. Please visit this link:
https://collective2.com/interactive-brokers-forms/investor
and submit forms and an ID to docs@autotradenow.com at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
Thanks Marc. Hopefully the approval is much faster than 2-3 bus days.
I started to autotrade using IBKR the “Prosper-relax-compound” strategy starting today. I had added minimum suggested capital and it started to place trades. However, after some trades, it exhausted the margin and can’t execute any order. what am I doing wrong? or, what is not configured correctly?
This is something that happens all of the time with new users to C2 – the scaling needs to be adjusted such that it is the ratio of the actual account size to the model account size (e.g., a $25K actual account should be scaled at 50% when trading a system with a model account of $50K). My question to @MatthewKlein or others on the C2 team – why not simply give a recommended scaling based on the users’ account size instead of simply defaulting to 100%, which is often too high?
